Handlepole Instructions

1. Use red locktight when installing the #10-32 Steering Cable Clamp
2. The 3/8-16 bolt must be installed into the center of the Steering Stop
3. This bolt also acts as the Chinpad Support
4. Depending on the Chinpad you use, a longer bolt may be necessary
5. When installing the Dual Pivot Bolt System use red locktight
6. Install the bolts, apply the locktight, tighten first nut very firmly
7. Apply more locktight, and tighten 2nd (lock nut) firmly
8. Leave the pole in the upright position for 24 hrs to cure locktight
9. These bolts require tightening periodically, It is essential that you do
10. When adjusting the Steering Cable do not connect the nozzle end of the cable until you have adjusted the steering end
11. Make sure the turn plate hits the Steering Stop in both directions
12. You may be required to cut 1/4” off the turn plate end of the cable
13. Once you have adjusted the steering end, connect the nozzle end.
14. Adjust the nozzle end of the cable to your desired setting

Scupper Instructions

1. Use a 2- 3/4 hole saw for the back & a 2- 3/8 hole saw for inside the hull.
2. Drill out the two holes.
3. Using the pvc pipe with the serrated end cut out the foam between the two holes.
4. Once you get the pvc pipe in all the way mark it and cut off the serrated end so its flush with the inside of the hull.
5. Seal both ends and seal the scupper flange down.

Foothold Instructions

1. Use tape across the tray to help position your cutouts in the same spot on both sides.

2. Trace template with a marker.

3. Make your cuts and watch out for the exhaust tube on right side. Pry off the fiberglass with a screwdriver.

4. Remove foam and use a grinding tool to help shape the foam to conform to the backside of the foothold. 

5. Use rivets, along with epoxy resin mixed with 404 and/or milled fibers to attach holds. Sand the surface thoroughly around the cutout edges so the fiberglass will properly adhere.

6. After holds are in grind the edges a bit along with the rivet heads in preparation for fiberglass strips.

7. Cut strips of fiberglass cloth to lay over the edges of holds.  2 layers of 10 oz will work well. 

8. Mix up epoxy resin and lay glass cloth. Don't wait for the first layer to setup before applying second layer, do both at same time.

Trim Instructions

1. Install trim cable through hull as shown in diagram.
   
   
2. Mount trim lever and guide cable though handle pole.
   
   
3. Install billet trim cable mount and return spring to pump as shown.
   
   
4. Review the photo, then sand or grind off rib on top of exit nozzle.
   
   
5. Using the four (4) bolts and spacer sleeves provided mount trim ring and steering nozzle.
   
   
6. Sand the steering nozzle as needed to avoid trim ring interference.
   
   
7. The OEM steering cable barrel and OEM ball post need to be transferred to the trim ring. The ball joint we provide will go on the steering cable. Use a bolt and locking nut to attach the ball joint to the steering nozzle. Do not tighten steering joint all the way down.
   
   
8.  Adjust cable at trim lever so trim ring is positioned at the correct angle. The OEM barrel will only need to screw on a few turns to the trim cable in most applications.
