The RICKTER FS-2 has almost the same features as the RICKTER FS-1 with some additional features. The pump and intake track are moved back 3 inches for better traction and longer hook up during jumps. The intake track was also widened to keep the pump filled up with water during leaning and maneuvering. The engine was moved back in the hull on a sliding engine mount system to assist with engine positioning. All these features were designed to change the center of gravity and keep the nose of the ski from catching edges. It also positions the mass closer to the rider for increased maneuverability. In surf riding conditions it makes the nose slide on waves like a surfboard and ensures the back remains hooked up.
